Virtual IP Team
By acting as your virtual IP Team, we can embed ourself in your business to perform all or some of the functions of an in-house IP Team. In typical cases, we assign a number of hours or days per month to work remotely or inhouse to drive the day-to-day IP issues together with your team.
Patent drafting and prosecution
We help you with drafting patent applications to protect your inventions. We first meet with the inventors to fully understand the invention. During the drafting we regularly keep in touch to make sure the invention is fully captured. When the patent application is filed, we can help you with the prosecution.
Freedom to operate
Our freedom to operate methodology is iterative, with checkpoints at key project gates. We start with landscape searches. When your product is getting ready for launch, we make a detailed clearance check on your design, giving you insight into any risks and recommending actions.
Due diligence
Our IP due diligence (DD) evaluations focus on the crucial topics for your transaction. We've seen the DD process from both sides and know the questions to ask to determine defensibility, FTO situation, and potential ownership issues. We can also do a high-level check or go deep into your target's IP portfolio.
Having led the IP functions at Swedish tech companies Northvolt and Mycronic, Jenny is experienced with all aspects of IP, from idea harvesting, FTO and patent drafting to IP governance and ownership, supplier vetting, joint development and M&A/due diligence. At Northvolt, Jenny and team grew the IP portfolio from zero to top Swedish patent filer in a hypergrowth startup environment through hands-on collaboration with R&D and stakeholders and a business-focused strategy.
